In addition, ACE Security Film has achieved both burglary resistance (ULC-S332-93) and bullet resistance (UL 752 Level 2). No other window tinting or safety and security window film company has been able to achieve such high standards.

How Security Films Works

  • Our Window Security Film works by having the film’s super aggressive adhesive form a molecular bond to the glass and hold it together, even after multiple impacts. While the glass may break or crack, it remains adhered to the film and in most cases will still be intact in its frame.
  • The tensile strength, coupled with our security film's elasticity and resistance to shear aids in the ability of eliminating the chance of objects penetrating the glass and film.

  • When Security Film is used in conjunction with Burglar alarms, the alarm is triggered with the first impact in which the glass breaks yet access is still denied. Repeated attempts create more noise and take more time before access is gained.
  • Since most smash and grabs take place in mere minutes the resultant time delay and noise factor is generally sufficient to scare off most would be thieves in favor of easier targets.
